Savvas allows you to copy materials from one Schoology course to your other courses. This means you can build a course once, give access to other teachers who can then in turn can copy the whole course or a subset of materials to their own course.
With Savvas there is no Student Information System (SIS) co-roster sync requirement where you are required to have matching roster data in both Schoology and Savvas Realize. Instead Savvas automatically rosters classes "just-in-time" based on the data from your courses in Schoology. This gives you full flexibility to manage your class rosters in Schoology and allows you to:
At Savvas we know that your district SIS does not always exactly reflect what is happening in the classroom. So if you create a class manually in Schoology , such as a virtual class for students who are at home, it will work with Savvas. If you add co-teachers to your class, like a substitute teacher or a specialist, it will work with Savvas.
With Savvas student learning is simplified; students access and complete their assignments right in Schoology.
Students also have the full power of Savvas Realize. Students can launch Savvas Realize and access their eText and Tools as well as browse the full Savvas programs for additional resources.
Savvas greatly simplifies student learning by allowing students to access and complete their assignments right in Schoology. Savvas assignments in Schoology work just like they do in Savvas Realize.
Students have the option to launch Savvas Realize from Schoology where they can see their Tools and eTexts as well as browse their Savvas programs.
When a student completes an assignment, Savvas Realize passes back to the Schoology Gradebook the students' score or indicates that the assignment was completed but requires teacher grading.
Teachers can review student work for both completed and in progress assignments right within Savvas Realize. Coming summer of 2022 you will be able to review and score student work within Schoology.
