Savvas and PBS—organizations with renowned content expertise and a mutual love of history—come together to offer PBS videos to support Savvas’s World History ©2014. PBS educational content delivers rich media experiences that engage students in exploring curricular concepts and is aligned to the needs of today’s teachers and learners.
These videos, from such sources as Nova, Ken Burns, and other well-known PBS programs, provide rigorous and relevant context to what students will learn in an upcoming chapter, and give students a framework for the concepts presented.
The videos will be available to students and teachers through the online digital course— both in streaming and downloadable format. Teachers can use each PBS video as an intro or a take a deeper dive into the topic.
