Essential Questions – Essential Questions provide a larger framework to guide planning and help students see the big idea of their lessons. These questions frame and challenge theories, forcing students to stretch their thinking and use course content to support and inform their answers. In World History, students encounter these in the Concept Connector Features, in every Chapter Assessment, and in the Concept Connector Journal.
