Meet James Edward West, an extraordinary inventor who created something we probably use every day! Students will not only learn about this great inventor, but become an inventor themselves by exploring sound and using some common items to try to create their own sound amplifier!
Monica Morton
A former teacher of 12 years, including middle school science, 3rd and 4th grades, high ability and title one, Monica Morton, works with teachers as a science curriculum specialist for the Savvas Learning Company. Monica uses her background studies at Ball State University and her experiences in curriculum design and educational technology to assist teachers with best practices in both Asynchronous and synchronous learning environments. At conferences and in districts, Monica conducts many different workshops to bring new ideas and model quality science instruction to improve student engagement in the classroom.
