Jackie Rybin (pronouns: she/her) is an aspiring Registered Dietitian and nutrition educator who still loves "playing with her food" and getting creative, whether it be in the kitchen or garden! She is currently a graduate student at the University of Arizona studying Agriculture Education, Technology, and Innovation (AETI). She is a systems-thinker with strong interests in sustainable food systems, food justice, food sovereignty, and grassroots advocacy and policy work. As a white, cis-gendered womxn, her goal is to work in solidarity to facilitate culturally-appropriate nutrition education programs in food insecure communities by placing the voices of community members first and foremost in those endeavors.
