Ernie Carter uses science knowledge of chemical reactions and fire behavior in his different areas of expertise. He has been in the Fire Service for 22 years and currently is employed by the North Richland Hills Fire Department. Ernie has been a Driver/Engineer for 14 years. He has certificates as an Advanced Fire Fighter, Driver Operator Pumper, Driver Operator Aerial, Fire Officer II, Instructor II, and Advanced Inspector. In addition, Ernie teaches part time at the Tarrant County College Fire Service Training Center.
